Promoting Well-being in K-12 Schools: Diverse Student Needs through an Inclusive Lens

Scott Bezsylko, M.A., is the Executive Director of the Winston Preparatory School, a

model middle and high school for learning disabled students.  In his

presentation, Mr. Bezsylko will discuss creating a school culture and individualized

curriculum that maximizes skill acquisition, while also promoting wellbeing, social,

emotional and civic competencies through use of the Continuous Feedback System

(CFS). Based on over twenty years of experience and research in the field of learning

disabilities and education, Mr. Bezsylko will discuss the importance and effectiveness of

CFS and how it not only enhances instruction and cultivates school experience, but also

serves as a model explicitly taught to students so that each can be a self-sustaining and

continuous learner after leaving school.
